  • This retreat is open to anyone seeking to reignite their creativity, regardless of skill level or professional background. The program is designed to foster a supportive, collaborative atmosphere for:

    • Creative Professionals: Individuals working in design-focused industries (e.g., fashion, footwear, automotive, accessories) who want to reconnect with hands-on making.

    • Art & Design Educators: Professors and academic leaders seeking a professional development experience that can be integrated into sabbatical or research plans.

    • Curious Creatives & Innovators: C-suite executives, team leaders, and creative professionals looking for a mindful retreat to inspire fresh thinking, leadership, and innovation.

  • The program fee starts at $8,995 USD and includes:

    • Accommodation in luxury venues

    • Workshops, materials, and lectures led by expert designers

    • Cultural excursions and guided tours

    • Select meals featuring Italian cuisine

    • Wellness activities

    Participants are responsible for travel arrangements to and from Florence, Italy.

  • Participants should budget for:

    • Airfare to/from Italy

    • Travel insurance (required)

    • Personal expenses and optional activities

    • Meals not included in the program

  • Yes. Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Seemore Global requires proof of travel insurance prior to departure, covering:

    • Trip cancellation or interruption

    • Medical expenses

    • Emergency evacuation and repatriation

    • Lost or delayed baggage

    Participants must ensure their insurance policy covers design workshops and any potential risks associated with crafting activities.

  • Seemore Global reserves the right to cancel or postpone the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

    • Political instability or government travel advisories

    • Natural disasters

    • Instructor availability

    • Insufficient enrollment

    In the event of cancellation by Seemore Global:

    • Participants will be offered a full refund of program fees, excluding any third-party expenses such as airfare.

    • Seemore Global is not responsible for additional costs incurred by participants (e.g., airfare, visa fees, or non-refundable travel arrangements).

    We strongly recommend booking flexible or refundable airfare and ensuring your travel insurance includes trip cancellation coverage.

  • Participant-Initiated Cancellations:
    If you need to cancel your participation, please notify Seemore Global in writing at the earliest opportunity.

    Refunds will be issued according to the schedule below:

    • 90+ days before the retreat start date: Full refund of the program fee, minus a $500 administrative fee

    • 60–89 days before the retreat start date: Refund of 50% of the program fee

    • Less than 60 days before the retreat start date:No refund will be provided

    Please note that all refunds will be processed in the original payment method within 30 business days of receiving the cancellation request.

    Program Transfers:
    If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another eligible participant with prior written approval from Seemore Global. All transfer requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the retreat start date. Seemore Global reserves the right to approve or deny any transfer request.

    Seemore Global-Initiated Cancellations:
    Seemore Global reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat under the following circumstances:

    • Force Majeure Events: Natural disasters, political unrest, public health emergencies, or other events beyond Seemore Global’s reasonable control.

    • Minimum Enrollment Requirements: If the retreat does not meet the required minimum number of participants.

    • Instructor Availability: In the event that a key instructor becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.

    In the event of a Seemore Global-initiated cancellation:

    • Participants will receive a full refund of the program fee, minus any non-refundable expenses incurred by Seemore Global on their behalf.

    • Seemore Global is not responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, including airfare, travel insurance, visa fees, or other non-refundable travel arrangements.

    We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover any potential trip interruptions or cancellations.

  • Seemore Global prioritizes the safety and well-being of all participants. Our team will provide:

    • Pre-departure travel guidance, including health and safety protocols

    • A local emergency contact and 24/7 support during the retreat

    • Recommendations for safe exploration of Florence and Tuscany

    We encourage all participants to register with the U.S. Department of State’s STEP Program (Smart Traveler Enrollment Program) or their country’s equivalent.

  • Seemore Global staff will be available throughout the retreat to assist participants. In case of emergency:

    • Local emergency services will be contacted

    • Participants should have travel insurance contact information readily available

    • The program schedule may be adjusted if necessary to address safety concerns

  • Yes! The Tuscan Atelier is an excellent opportunity for art and design professors to incorporate into their sabbatical or professional development plans. The retreat offers:

    • Hands-on workshops in luxury footwear and accessory design

    • Cultural immersion to enhance global perspectives

    • Research opportunities for those exploring design practices, craft, and sustainability

    We recommend discussing your sabbatical proposal with your institution and providing documentation on the program, including the itinerary and learning outcomes.

  • We recommend packing:

    • Comfortable clothing for workshops, excursions and warm weather

    • Notebooks and personal design tools (optional)

    • Formal attire for the closing gala event

    • Swimsuit and beachwear for the seaside excursion

  • Participants will stay at:

    • Hotel degli Orafi (Florence): A historic, elegant hotel with stunning views of the Duomo and Arno River.

    • Ormanni Winery (Tuscany): A serene countryside retreat offering a peaceful setting for creative exploration.

  • While subject to change, the program itinerary includes:

    • Day 1 (June 24): Arrival in Florence, welcome aperitivo

    • Days 2–5: Workshops, lectures, cultural tours

    • Days 6–7: Weekend seaside excursion

    • Days 8–13: Design workshops, wellness activities

    • Day 14 (July 7): Final presentations and gala event

    A detailed schedule will be provided upon registration and updated 2 weeks prior to the start of the program.
